Hi,
My name is Christopher Quock. I’m a graduate of San Francisco State University and currently live in San Francisco. My formal academic training is in biology, speficially in entomology. However, I’ve also taken several lessons in Chinese brush painting over the years by Peter Mo Woo, Madeleine Fu, and Bai Ru Ng. I’ve also occasionally sketched, dibbled with watercolors, and experimented with acrylics. Along the way, I also developed an interest in photography. My earliest attempts at macrophotography were mostly to document the work I was doing in the lab as a graduate student, but I also started to take close up shots of animals and plants in the outdoors for fun as well. I've also branched out into landscape and night photography.
I’ve set up this website to periodically sell some of the art and crafts that I do as a hobby. Since I’m just getting started and still need to work on handling the logistics and paperwork that come with running a registered business, I’ll be opening my storefront for a few days at a time, but I’ll make announcements here and on the facebook page beforehand.
For downloadable versions of some of my photography, clip art, and other miscellaneous items, also check out my etsy store.
